Today have been such and adventurous day already.
In the airport, I met a woman by the name of Vicki who worked at one of the stores in the airport. I was drawn to the store because it beautiful jewelry and colors that were vibrant. Vicki herself was a radiant ball of so much light and love. We talked, laughed, and shared condense versions of our life experiences and words of encouragement. Come to find out she is a believer who is looking for a job. We've exchanged information and I made a new friend.
On the airplane, I sat next to a woman by the name of Jackie. She was actually heading to Dublin as well coming from Indianapolis. She is actually in a sport called Hurling which is a big deal in Ireland. I had no clue what it was about it she was so awesome to just talk to and hang out with it. She had became a new friend. On the layover I hung out with her and another Hurling player who was also in a tournament that was going to be in Dublin. We've exchanged numbers and she invited me to see them play in Galway which I believe I definitely will.
I didn't even arrive in Ireland and made two friends already.
The flight was just amazing. Hardly any turbulence, the food was great and the people I sat next to were an adorable elderly couple who actually going to a church convention in Dublin.
Then I met Aoife at the airport. The Dublin Airport was so huge that we kept missing each other but it was grand as they say it here. Once I leave here I will sound Irish. So sweet and full of smiles and hospitality. She made me breakfast, helped me with issues with my phone and we have wonderful conversations about God. I felt so alive and rejuvenated and completely at rest. I was taking it all in.
It still hadn't hit me that I am in here in Ireland. I took the fact they drive on the left side of the road and the steering wheel is on the right. I took in the fact that where I am currently staying is on the harbor of the ocean where I can hear seagulls. One even landed on the patio as Aoife and I were talking. She said they never do that.
There is so much more that I just don't have the capacity to type it all right now. I didn't even bother to take pictures today because it felt like a day to just take it all in. No rush in doing anything or going anywhere.
Ahhh! How refreshing!
